"Pino" ice cream morsels are EXTREMELY popular in Japan. They're manufactured by Morinaga (the "Hi-Chew" company), but cannot be found yet in America.
This Entabe (Japanese) category is all about Pino flavors you could re-create everywhere, anytime (need: homemade or store-bought ice cream recipe, of whatever flavor you enjoy):

I had an idea.... Why not put homemade ice cream/softened ice cream into chocolate molds, freeze them, push them out, and cover them in melted chocolate ganache? (Ganache would be silky and smooth. Ordinary chocolate coating would crackle.) Eat the ice cream-ganache morsels with a small fork/toothpick.
Not just vanilla. I prefer the ice cream flavors of "Birthday Cake", "Cotton Candy", "Strawberry", "Caramel", etc, any day over vanilla...
This is a limited edition "Mitsuimo" (Honey Sweet Potato/Murasaki Yam) Pino flavor, you'll have to make homemade ice cream with honey and Murasaki Yam puree:

Cannot wait to try this someday.
