  1. Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry until crisp.
  2. Now add the onion and hamburger meat.
  3. Cook until the onion is golden and the meat is brown.
  4. Add the beans and tomatoes.
  5. Cook for 15 minutes.
  6. You can now add the carrots or rice, or both, for variety.
