Always check the ingredients to make sure the product is vegan.



  1. Some margarines contain animal products such as whey, milk ingredients and animal fat.
  2. Please keep this in mind when shopping.
  3. Saute onions in olive oil until translucent.
  4. Add garlic and veggie ground round.
  5. Stir and add remaining ingredients.
  6. Mix well and simmer while potatoes are cooking.
  7. Peel potatoes and cut into small pieces.
  8. Boil potatoes until tender.
  9. Add soy milk, margarine and salt and pepper.
  10. Mash everything together until mixture is smooth.
  11. Pour veggie ground round mixture into a greased baking dish.
  12. Top with mashed potatoes.
  13. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 mins.
  14. For the last 5 mins, turn oven on to broil and brown the top.
  15. Cool for 5-10 mins before serving.
