Ingredients[]
- 1/2 cup of butter or margarine
- 2 squares of unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract
- 3/4 cup of flour
- 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1/3 cup of chopped almonds

- In a saucepan, melt the butter and unsweetened chocolate over low heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
- Add the eggs, one art a time, beating well.
- Stir in almond extract.
- Add the flour, mix well.
- Stir in chocolate pieces and almonds.
- Spread in a greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350�F. for 30 minutes.
- Cool, cut into squares.
