Amber Onions

Ingredients

• 8 yellow onions
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp paprika
• 2 tbsp butter or margarine
• ¼ cup tomato juice
• 3 tbsp honey

Directions

1. Cut onions in half crosswise.
2. Place in greased large shallow casserole.
3. Combine salt, paprika, melted butter, tomato juice and honey.
4. Pour over onions.
5. Cover dish and bake at 300 °F.
6. For 1 hour or until onions are tender.
