Once Alice cried herself an ocean, she promptly declared, “Oh dear. I do wish I hadn’t cried so much.” This tear-inspired concoction is so delicious, one might wish it would never come to an end! Made with blue spirulina and teeming with bursts of flavor, this clever blue beverage conjures up images of drifting across the tranquil blue sea. Oh, the sailor’s life!
Ingredients[]
- ½ cup lychee popping boba (available at specialty stores or online)
- ¼ teaspoon blue spirulina powder
- ½ teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- About 12 ounces fizzy water
Directions[]
- Strain the boba juice into a small bowl, and set aside the pearls.
- Mix the spirulina powder, lemon zest, and lemon juice into the boba juice until the spirulina is incorporated.
- Add the pearls back in, and split the liquid between the two glasses.
- Fill the glasses gently with ice, and top with fizzy water.
- Serve immediately with boba straws.
