- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 20 trimmed and separated chicken wings
- Dash of salt and pepper
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 shallot, diced
- 7 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 lemon
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- dash hot sauce
Directions[]
- In large, heavy skillet, heat oils over high heat.
- Add wings, sprinkling with salt and pepper to seal in their flavor.
- Fry until the wings are brown and cooked through.
- Add the onion and shallot. Brown.
- Add the garlic; cook until softened.
- Add garlic and onion powders and the salt and pepper.
- Toss everything together; turn off the heat.
- Transfer the wings to a large mixing bowl and squeeze lemon juice over them.
- Add parsley and hot sauce.
- Toss, making sure the wings are thoroughly coated.
- Serve immediately
