Ingredients[]
- 1 bottle dry white wine
- 3 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and finely chopped (about 4 1/2 cups)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 t. ground cinnamon
Directions[]
- In a 2 quart container, combine wine, apples, sugar and cinnamon; stir until sugar dissolves.
- Cover and refrigerate 1 month to allow flavors to blend.
- Use cheesecloth to strain wine, reserving 1/2 cup apples for an apple cinnamon cheese ball if desired.
- Serve wine chilled.
