Description

This is good enough for a party when served with ladyfingers, snow cake, or sponge cake.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel and core apples.
  2. Simmer in water with lemon rind until tender.
  3. Put through colander and cool.
  4. Take egg whites, beat to a stiff froth, and fold into apples.
  5. Add sugar, and continue beating until stiff.
  6. Serve in a glass dish with either custard sauce made with the egg yolks, or whipped cream.
