1. Combine apricots and water in a small saucepan, over a medium flame.
  2. Bring to the boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, until tender.
  3. Drain, reserving ¼ cup liquid.
  4. Combine apricots, reserved liquid, and Sugar in a food processor.
  5. Process until smooth.
  6. Add cream cheese, sour cream, and nutmeg.
  7. Again process until smooth.
  8. Cover and chill for 60–90 minutes.
  9. Skewer assorted fruits and chunks with toothpicks.
  10. Arrange onto a serving platter.
  11. Serve dip chilled or at room temperature.
