Ingredients Edit

  • 1 pound apricots, peeled and pitted
  • 3 cups alcohol, cooking
  • 2 cups sugar
  • lemon rinds, grated

Directions Edit

  1. Boil sugar in enough water to make syrup.
  2. Add apricots and simmer for several minutes.
  3. Strain and allow to cool.
  4. Add alcohol, 2 cups of water and the rinds.
  5. Pour off into a bottle and store for at least 1 month.
  6. Strain and rebottle for future use when ready.
