Arequipe

Ingredients

• 3 quarts milk
• 2 lbs sugar
• ¼ tsp baking soda
• cinnamon stick
• pinch of salt
• 2 egg yolks

Directions

1. Combine milk, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon stick, and salt and simmer.
2. Stir constantly 4–5 hours.
3. Add the egg yolks and let cook 2-3 minutes longer.
4. Remove the cinnamon stick.
5. Let cool.
