Purchased from the Watson Estate in McKinney, Texas in 1991. Dated 1957.
- 3 cups cooked Barley
- ½ cup molasses
- ½ cup tomato puree
- ½ cup water
- 3 tablespoons Honey
- ¼ cup diced white Onion
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Combine all ingredients and mix well.
- Pour into a baking dish and bake at 350 for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
