Description

Purchased from the Watson Estate in McKinney, Texas in 1991. Dated 1957.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked Barley
  • ½ cup molasses
  • ½ cup tomato puree
  • ½ cup water
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • ¼ cup diced white Onion
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
  2. Pour into a baking dish and bake at 350 for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
