Ingredients[]
- 1 pound asparagus
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped shallots
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Directions[]
- Prepare grill.
- Snap off tough ends of asparagus.
- Combine asparagus, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, shallots, salt, and black pepper; marinate 30 minutes.
- Remove asparagus; discard marinade.
- Place asparagus on grill rack coated with cooking spray.
- Grill 5 minutes on each side or until done.
Yield: 4 servings
