Merlot goes great with these mushrooms.

  1. Saute the garlic in olive oil for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Do not brown the garlic.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook 2 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in balsamic vinegar and wine, cook another 2 minutes.
  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
