Banana Drop Cookies

2/3 C shortening

1-1/2 C sugar

2 eggs

1 C ripe mashed bananas

1 t vanilla

2-1/2 C flour

2 t baking powder

� t soda

� t salt

1 t cinnamon

Cream shortening and 1 cup sugar; beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together; blend into banana mixture. Combine remaining sugar and cinnamon. Drop cookie dough from teaspoon onto greased baking sheet; sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake at 350� for 12 minutes or until browned.

Yield: 4 dozen
