- Melt the fat in the water, and then sprinkle in the oatmeal.
- Knead for several minutes.
- Roll out on a floured board with oatmeal, rolling very thin.
- Cut into large or small rounds as desired.
- Bake on a moderately hot griddle or thick frying pan for about ten minutes.
- Allow to harden in a warm place.
- Serve with slices of cheese.
