Barley Soup Ingredients Edit 900 g meat 2 cups beans 1 cup barley 2 onions 2 tsp salt ½ tsp pepper 2 tbsp chopped green 3 l water Directions Edit Soak beans in cold water over a night. Pour cold water over meat,boil and cook on low heat for 45 minutes. Add barley, beans, finely chopped onion and cook on very low heat for 1 hour. salt and pepper and cook for 10 minutes. Soup is good when beans and meat are soft and tender.
