A Dutch version of vanilla pudding.
Ingredients[]
- ¾ litre milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 35 g custard powder
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
Directions[]
- Mix ¼ cup of the milk with vanilla and heat slowly.
- Add rest of milk and custard powder according to package directions.
- Serve warm or cold in a soup plate with tart-flavoured berries.
Notes[]
- You can also swirl in thinned chocolate pudding for a nice effect.
- Dutch Vla is a thin pudding; it should not be thick.
