  1. Cut the chicken in bite size pieces.
  2. In a skillet combine the chicken with the bell pepper and onion.
  3. Add sausage and salt and cook until golden brown in enough oil to keep the mixture from sticking.
  4. Add the broth and rice.
  5. Cover the pan and cook slowly for 45 minutes.
