1. Combine flour and salt.
  2. Stir in beer and mix well to make a batter.
  3. Heat oil to 375°F.
  4. Dip shrimp in batter, allow excess to drip off.
  5. Fry small batches of shrimp in oil for 1 – 2 minutes, until golden.
  6. Drain on a rack and blot with paper towels.
  7. Serve hot.
