- 3 medium beets
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 3 table spoons Mayonnaise
- 1 table spoon lemon juice
- Boil the beets, peel them. Grate the cooled beets and mix with the rest of the ingredients.
- Let stand for one hour to mix the flavors.
- Serve with the country style bread or as a salad with the main dish.
