Waffles are a breakfast must-have at Strawberry's place of business, but these particular waffles are quite decadent, so they also qualify as dessert. Not that that is a bad thing! For some extra berry flair, try making these in a heart-shaped waffle iron and topping the jam with dollops of sweetened whipped cream.

  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat and set aside to cool 5 minutes.
  2. Whisk eggs in a large bowl until completely blended.
  3. Whisk in milk, baking powder, sugar, and flour.
  4. Whisk until well combined.
  5. Add melted butter and whisk to combine (a few lumps are okay).
  6. Heat waffle iron and grease with nonstick cooking spray or vegetable oil as needed.
  7. Bake batter according to manufacturer directions.
  8. Place baked waffle in oven to keep warm while cooking the rest of batter.
  9. Serve topped with jam.
