As the Berrykins' ruler, the Berry Princess has a lot to manage. This trifle pays homage to her responsibilities in a tasty way by combining strawberries, blueberries, kiwifruit, bananas, and peaches with vanilla pudding, sherry-soaked ladyfingers, and whipped cream.

Ingredients[]
- 1 cup sherry
- 100 (4") ladyfingers
- 6 cups vanilla pudding (or pastry cream)
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup sliced kiwi
- 1 cup sliced bananas
- 1 cup sliced peaches
- 2 cups whipped cream
Directions[]
- Pour sherry into a small shallow dish.
- Take ladyfingers and dip them quicky (less than 2 seconds each, otherwise they will dissolve) in sherry.
- Dip enough of them to cover bottom of a 4-quart trifle bowl.
- You may have to break them to fit.
- Cover ladyfinger layer with a layer of pudding, then top with strawberries.
- Repeat dipping and layering ladyfingers, covering with pudding and topping with a different fruit (remaining fruit should be used in this order: blueberries, kiwi, bananas, peaches).
- Top trifle with whipped cream and any remaining fruit.
- Chill 1 hour before serving or for 4 hours if you decide not to use sherry.
- Serve.
