  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add egg yolks and vanilla.
  3. Beat at medium speed 2 or 3 minutes.
  4. Sift dry ingredients and add to above.
  5. Add sour milk.
  6. Blend by hand.
  7. Add nuts and dates.
  8. Drop by ½ teaspoons on cookie sheet.
  9. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
  10. You may refrigerate dough and use as née.ded.
