Bishop's Wine

2 T. whole cloves 3 whole unpeeled oranges 2 bottles dry red wine (4/5 quart each) 1/2 cup sugar 1 stick cinnamon

Stick whole cloves into peel of whole oranges. Prick skin several times with fork. Drop into bottom of slow cooking pot. Pour in wine, sugar and cinnamon. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours. Serve hot from the pot. If desired, cut oranges into wedges as garnish for each serving. Makes 10 servings. Source: Unknown
