These cookies are triangle shaped, one end of them is dipped in chocolate and has silver dragees for decorations.

Ingredients[]
Dough[]
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup confectioner's sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 cups flour
Icing[]
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
Decoration[]
- silver dragées
Directions[]
- Heat oven to 325°F degrees.
- Line a jelly roll pan with foil.
Dough[]
- In a bowl, beat first 4 ingredients until blended.
- Stir in flour until blended.
- Press over bottom of ungreased pan.
- Score dough lengthwise in 4 equal strips, then crosswise in 8 strips to make 32 rectangles.
- Cut each rectangle in half diagonally, prick each triangle twice.
- Bake 18 minutes or until shortbread looks dry and pale gold.
- Cool in pan.
- Recut cookies while warm.
- Cool in pan.
Icing[]
- Stir chocolate, water and butter in a saucepan over low heat until chocolate and butter melt.
- Coat a wire cooling rack with cooking spray.
- Dip wide edge of each cookie in chocolate.
- Place on rack.
