  1. Grease baking sheet.
  2. In a heavy skillet, cook the sugar over low heat, stirring constantly until melted.
  3. Add soda, 1 cups of the nuts.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Turn onto a baking sheet immediately.
  6. With a rolling pin, roll the brittle until about ¼ inch thick.
  7. Before the brittle is cool, mark into squares with a knife.
  8. When cold, spread with chocolate and sprinkle on the rest of the nuts.
  9. When chocolate is firm, break into pieces.
