  1. Preheat the oven to 350.
  2. Grease muffin pans.
  3. Stir together the flour, baking powder, salt and mace.
  4. Beat the Sugar, oil, egg and vanilla for 30 seconds.
  5. Add the flour mixture and milk to the egg mixture. Beat for 30 seconds after each addition .
  6. Fill 10 muffin cups with 2/3 full of batter.
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes .
  8. Combine the 1/2 cup Sugar and the cinnamon.
  9. Melt the butter or margarine.
  10. Roll each muffin in melted butter and coat all over in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  11. Serve immediately with butter and jelly.
