  1. Cook onion in butter until soft but not brown.
  2. Add soup and cheese. Cook over low heat, stirring, until cheese melts.
  3. Add mushrooms with liquid, broccoli and rice.
  4. Turn into shallow casserole; top with French fried onions.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
