Ingredients[]
- 1 pound broccoli spears
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoon chopped shallots
- 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions[]
- Steam broccoli, covered, 4 minutes.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Add shallots; cook 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, and salt.
- Drizzle butter mixture over broccoli, and toss gently to coat.
Yield: 4 servings
