1 lb. Sausage
 1 lb. Ground Beef
1 finely chopped medium to large size onion
  head of cabbage thinly shredded
 2 potatoes finely diced
 3 carrots finely diced
 1 can black-eyed peas
 1 can pork and beans
 1 large can crushed tomatoes
 1 can lima beans
 1 can whole kernel corn
  package of frozen peas
  bottle catsup
2 lbs. Finely chopped BBQ pork
 1 TBSP black pepper
 2 tsp. Vinegar
hot pepper to taste (a little goes a long careful)
Brown sausage and ground beef, rinse and drain well. Put in a very

large, deep cooking vessel and add the onion, cabbage, potatoes, and carrots, along with just enough water to cook the vegetables. Cook until done.

Drain the black-eyed peas, pork and beans, lima beans, and corn,

reserving the liquid in case you need to add liquid during the simmering process. Add all remaining ingredients and let heat thoroughly and simmer until thickened.

 Freezes well.
 Makes 6 quarts.

What counts is not necessarily the size of the dog in the fight - it's the size of the fight in the dog......
