Butter Mints

1 tsp. light corn syrup 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring 1/2 tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. shortening 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1/4 tsp. oil of peppermint (Add by drops) 2 Tbsp. margarine 3-4 Tbsp. water (Food coloring)

Mix all ingredients with mixer. Leave out a little the sugar to knead in. Mix and knead until it's the consistency of play-doh. If desired, add food coloring to the dough as you knead. To shape into mints, roll into little balls and lightly pinch the middle of the ball. Let dry 24 hours. Store in an airtight container.

What counts is not necessarily the size of the dog in the fight - it's the size of the fight in the dog......
