1 cup butter 3/4 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup white granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 cups sifted flour 1 tsp. soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 - 1 cup

chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in pecans. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 50 cookies.
