This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Chung Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1987.

  1. Put potatoes in a large pot of cold water and bring to a boil.
  2. Boil for 20 minutes then drain in a colander.
  3. Beat potatoes until mashed then add butter and beat until melted and smooth then beat in buttermilk and season with salt and pepper.
