  1. Remove the first outer leaves from the cabbage, divide in six parts and set to boil in salt water.
  2. When ready, drain well, remove the core, and place in a heat resistant glass dish that was greased with some butter.
  3. Fry the bread crumbs with the butter and pour over the cabbage.
  4. Place in the oven for a few minutes.
  5. Before serving, pour some melted butter on top.
