Candied Pecans

1 1/2 cups sugar 1/2 cup water 1 cup honey 1/4 t. salt 1/2 t. vanilla 3 1/2 to 4 cups pecan halves

Mix sugar, water, honey and salt and boil to a soft stage. Add vanilla. Stir in pecan halves. Stir until creamy. Place on waxed paper and separate with a fork. When cool, break apart and store in container. Source: Carroll and Estelee Derington
