Central African cuisine is quite an original cuisine where a lot of ingredients are mixed together resulting in a tasty variety of flavors. Soups in Central African republic cuisine are not as popular as in other cuisines, however there are quite a few recipes that are in often use in this area. The main feature of the soups here is that they are very thick. There are no thin soups prepared and consumed in this area. Most of the times the soups in Central Africa are meat-based, but there is no surprise if one sees soup prepared only from vegetables. Actually the creamy vegetable soups are quite popular in this area. One of the most famous soups in Central Africa is, however, the creamy chicken noodle soup. This dish is served very hot and it is perfect for the cold nights. Besides being very tasty this soup is also very filling, thus usually it is served as the main course.
