The most consumed meats are lamb, mutton, beef and of course, sea food, like the sea trout – all these are all consumed with steamed veggies or fritters. The Falkland Island people consume meat pies, boiled sausages of mutton, veil, pork and lamb, which are all very consistent meals and British inspired. The mutton sausages are prepared with garlic, minced meat, onions, tomato paste and a lot of pepper and ground spices and they are also used for various local sandwiches, filled with greens and herbs. Besides these, the British food, such as fish and chips is a must in all the Falkland Islands.
