In dealing with Guamanian cuisine, one would never forget the great importance given to every detail. This area includes red beans and vegetables, rice cakes, black beans boiled in water and sugar, sweet dishes containing ground nuts; konbu or black seaweed, red and white pickles, or mushrooms. As for recipes, these are based on kulfi with condensed milk, rose syrup, cream, ground almonds and nuts; gulab jamun with self rising flower, dry powdered skim milk, cream, vegetable oil, pancake mix, sugar and rose water; shrikhand with thick curd, powdered sugar, saffron, milk, cardamom powder, almonds, wheat flour, cooking oil, salt and water. Obviously, these are only several recipes from the wide Guamanian cuisine.
