Beverages in the Italian cuisine revolve around wines. There are incredibly many types of wines, depending on the region of the country. The rose Zinfandels wines, and the dessert ones. Rovero (Asti), Sparina (Gavi). Argiano, Brunelli, Casanova di Neri, Costanti, Biondi Santi, Copertino Co-operative (Copertino), Candido (Salice Salentino), Rivera (Castel del Monte), Planeta (Sicily) are just some of the wines found all over Italy. Coffee is another important issue when beverages are concerned. Italia coffee is world wide know especially for the diversification in the process of making such a drink. From regular black coffee, to latte coffee, café Macchiato and various cappuccino types, the Italian bartenders like to improvise and add special ingredients such as whip cream, caramel, melted chocolate, crushed almonds, coconut flakes, honey, syrups, liquors, and alcohol (mainly Kalua). Citrus drinks and shakes are also popular. Having same flavors as the Italian ice-creams do, the shakes have interesting tastes, making them unique and not only as drinks, but as desserts as well.
