Saké or Tea are the usual beverages that accompany a meal. Saké is served from porcelain carafes and drunk in little decorative cups. Green Tea has it's own special pot.
- Saké- the brewed rice wine which is often heated and served warm.
- Green Tea (Nihon-cha)- the tea drunk daily in Japan, before, after, and during any meal.
