Almost every Kyrgyzstan meal ends with a delicious dessert. There are numerous dessert recipes in the Kyrgyzstan cuisine. The most popular desserts are the choymo tokach or tan mosho cookies made of intertwined threads of leavened dough, stir fried in oil and powdered with sugar. Another delightful dessert is khalvaitar a kind of sauce made from mixing flour with sugar which is lastly fried sheep’s tail fat. Dried or fresh fruits are also served as dessert especially nuts. Chak-chak is also very popular in Kyrgyzstan and it is made of dough sugared with honey. A Russian dessert which is very common in Kyrgyzstan is the so called Bliny, pancakes filled with various types of jam or cheese.
