When you think about preparing a delicious Latvian meal, the first thing that should come to your mind is chicken with lemon herb sauce. This meat dish consists of olive oil, boneless skinless chicken breast halves, salt, black pepper, lemon, garlic, and fresh parsley leaves. But you can also try pot roast with roasted vegetables if you have the following ingredients in your kitchen: beef, black pepper, salt, onions, carrots, garlic, vegetable oil, flour, celery, tomatoes, red wine, beef broth, fresh thyme, bay leaves, fresh parsley, and olive oil. The most common cold appetizers are pork in aspic, herring with vegetables, and Jani or summer solstice cheese.
