The Latvians proved their ability in what concerns the preparation of desserts, too. For instance, they prepare: debessmanna or whipped cranberry dessert with milk; layered rye bread dessert with loganberry jam, cream, sugar, vanilla essence, and cinnamon; mint crème brulee; citrus ice cream mix with e liqueur “advocate” sauce; almond coated deep fries with fresh raspberry sauce; potato pancakes with red bilberry jam and sour cream; apple cake with vanilla sauce; famous carrot cake with sour cream topping; rainbow apple pie with raisins and wholemeal; rainbow brownie with chocolate sauce; homebake cheesecake; vegan crumble in a pastry tart, and fresh cream gluten free roulade.
