The Macedonian salads are served along with the meat dishes. The variety of the ingredients determined a great number of salads. People use mostly vegetables, but cheese seems to be one of the major ingredients, too. Besides these, fruit might also be seen in salads. As the name of the country is translated as "fruit salad", these dishes have many variations, throughout the country.

  • Mixed Vegy Salad
  • Spumante Fruit Salad
  • Spumante Fruit Salad
  • Tarator

The last of them consists of cucumber, garlic, yoghurt, nuts and salt and is also served as an appetizer in some Balkanian countries, and as a soup in the others.
