Moldovan Appetizers

Appetizers are served when a quest is in a Moldavian house. A delicious appetizer prepared by the Moldavian women is carrots with honey or carrots with rice. In order to cook carrots with honey or with rice you need to peel the carrots and cu them in fine slices then put them in a pot filled with water and let them boil; after there are boiled put them in another pot with sugar and just a little water to boil. After they boiled the second time add in the pot lemon juice and a drop of honey and put them again on fire until you have a thick cream. You can serve the mixture with rice or with honey.
