The Reunionnese cuisine is very complex and contains a large number of tasteful dish recipes. Here are just few of them which worth be mentioned because of their exquisite flavors and savories. Banana nut bread- is a dish usually served during main festivals of the year. It is made with oil, eggs, sugar, mashed, ripped bananas, vanilla extract, buttermilk, and chopped pecans.

Scalloped pineapple – it is a dish excellent to be served as a dessert or even as a snack and it is really easy to cook taking only 30 minutes. This dish can be prepared using melted margarine or butter, sugar, eggs, milk, cubed bread and undrained pineapple.
