Source: Autumn IN A JIFFY - Gooseberry Patch

Back in the 60s and 70s, a restaurant chain called King’s Food Host served these delicious crunchy-gooey sandwiches. The restaurants are no longer around, but these are just as good, if not better! Perfect comfort food on a cold day with a hot bowl of tomato soup. - Brenda Schosser, Brighton, CO
